Message from the Monthly Flyer January 2023

A Truly Apostolic Perspective Will Carry the Gospel Beyond Borders

Without a doubt, there is a concerted attempt by the enemy to distract and frustrate God’s people and God’s kingdom purpose in these perilous last days. (2 Timothy 3)

We must refuse to take the enemies bait! We must not fall prey to the enemies distracting social, political and economic agendas! (1 Peter 5:8-9)

We must not allow ourselves to be drawn into the affairs of this world as political commentators, social activist, protestors, demonstrators, societal pundits, reporters or even crusaders for any worldly affair or issue! (2 Timothy 2:4)

We are called out! (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
We are set apart! (Psalm 4:3)
We are the light of the world and a city set on a hill! (Matthew 5:14)
We are the salt of the earth! (Matthew 5:13)
We are a chosen generation, royal priesthood and holy nations! (1 Peter 2:9) We are examples of the believers! (1 Timothy 4:12)
We are ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 4:1-2)
We are ambassadors of Christ! (2 Corinthians 5:20-21)

In 1 Corinthians 9:27, Paul instructed us to bring our earthly bodies under submission to our Spiritual nature and kingdom calling.

In Romans 12:1-2, Paul instructed us to not be conformed to this world but be transformed.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul said we are a new creation and old things are passed away. We have been born again! (John 3:3-7 & 1 Peter 1:23) We have a new nature! (Ephesians 4:22-24)

We have a new flag! (Exodus 17:15)
We have a new kingdom! (Matthew 6:33)
We are in this world, but we are not of this world! (John 15:19)
We do not fight like the world fights! (John 18:36 & 2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

We should not allow ourselves to be deceived. We must not emotionally revert back in to our old nature.

We must not fight the way the world fights, publicly debating societal injustices on social media, injustices that can only truly be destroyed by faith in God, repentance, taking on the blood of the lamb through baptism in Jesus name, taking on the kingdom nature by being filled with the Holy Ghost speaking with other tongues, by becoming a disciple of Christ by obedience to scripture and through the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous!

While the apostles and the new testament churches were continually persecuted at the hands of an evil, lawless and even racist society; I have not found any bible example where the apostles participated in rioting, demonstrating or becoming activist in order to address the social injustices, racism, lawlessness or any other cares of this life that they were experiencing.

We must preach, teach and live a very public example of the fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5, while at the same time, prophetically, powerfully and consistently praying for the kind of change in our world that will propel the gospel beyond borders resulting in a great global harvest!

The cross before us! The world behind! No turning back! No Turning back! Missionary Charles Robinette
