King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Revelations 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND Lord OF LORDS.

Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

There are two types of Jesus the religious world loves to present. Either a dead man hanging on a crucifix during Easter time, or a little infant in a manger during Christmas. The reason for this is that none of them are any threat. A dead man can’t do me anything. A little baby is only cute and not any threat for me. But the Jesus I believe in is not dead. He is not hanging on a cross. He is not only a symbol. My Jesus is not a baby anymore. He is not a cute little gift we can send around during Christmas to get our wishes fulfilled.

He is the KING of Kings. He is the LORD of Lords. He has ALL power in heaven and in earth. And the Bible says that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is LORD.

Have you confessed him to be Lord in your life? Have you bowed your knee and your will for Him? Because one day you will anyway. It is better to do it willingly and be blessed than to be forced and be judged. Rev Gøran ANdreassen
